We can run one of our standard trips with you or tailor make a trip that would better suit your groups abilities and needs.

If you are a school group we can run educational fun full day trips or a basic 1 hr kayak session with games.

For work functions Outdoor Discoveries have the perfect kayak trips for your group. Test your teams skills out in the harbour or go for a scenic paddle up to one of Auckland’s famous Pubs for a lunch, afternoon tea or dinner.

For those experienced paddlers who have a set agenda or just want to explore the waters at their own pace hire a freedom rental.

School Rentals

We are very flexible and can tailor make trips that head out for a full days kayak adventure to a simple 1 hr kayak and games.

Freedom Rentals

Freedom rentals are available for the adventurous paddler who has previous kayak experience.

This gives you the freedom to paddle at your own pace explore different inlets, estuaries and islands.

A few years ago I went on one of your night kayaks and never forgot the experience, and when a friend of mine and I were talking about this sort of thing I offered to look into it. Fortunately Outdoor Discoveries was still in operation so I booked. We were not disappointed. The trip as I remembered it was still amazing, with good guides (didn't feel crap because we were last/slow kayakers in group) they were very supportive and natural in their approach. The whole trip was timed really well to coincide with sunset from the top of Browns Island...truly AMAZING and INSPIRING!! The trip back was almost surreal. Millpond water, quiet, peaceful. Martin and Andy ran a good show providing for every need including producing a lolly jar before and after trip. It was worth every cent.
